American Society of Contemporary Artists
Art Niche New York (ANNY) is a non-profit effort, hosted by the New York Artists Equity Association (NYAEA), devoted to furthering the cause of the visual arts. ANNY’s mission is to provide a "niche" for New York artists and art-related organizations. The site services queries from the general public as well as the extended art community via the World Wide Web. American Society of Portrait Artists
The American Society of Portrait Artists (ASOPA) is the largest portrait artist patron organization in the world. Founded in 1987, ASOPA has patrons in all 50 states and 34 nations and is a non-profit, 501 - (c) 3 organization. ASOPA is dedicated to furthering the fine art of portraiture and supporting the individual artist. It is led by a distinguished advisory board of directors, all dedicated to developing a year-round program of portrait events across the country which will increasingly provide every possible resource for artists and persons interested in portraiture. ASOPA provides a means for networking with portrait artists and serves as a forum to provide valuable information, research materials, and links to portrait seminars. -

Bead Society of Greater New York
The Bead Society of Greater New York was founded in January, 1988, by students of Yoshie Marubashi.Yoshie was an instructor of bead work and knotting in the seminar department at the Fashion Institute of Technology in Manhattan. The class she taught was called “Baubles, Bangles and Bead Stringing,” a class which was so enjoyed by her students that many of them took it several times and then decided to form a bead society.

The Enamelist Society
The Enamelist Society, Inc. is a volunteer arts organization founded in 1987 for the purpose of promoting the art of enameling. It is organized as a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation in the State of Ohio and a set of By-Laws for governance. Any individual or organization may join The Enamelist Society simply by filling in a membership application and paying the yearly dues. -
National Collage Society
National Collage Society works to foster the appreciation and interest in the recognized medium of collage. Collage has only been identified and defined during the twentieth century. The NCS, Inc. advances the stature of collage as a major art medium and assists in the public education through exhibits and workshops, lectures and publications. -
Organization of Independent Artists
The Organization of Independent Artists is a non-profit arts organization [verified under section 501(c)-(3)] founded by Warren Tanner and other artists in 1976 to expand and enrich the exhibitions of art in public and alternative spaces in the New York Metropolitan area. Over the past 30 years, OIA has pursued its mission of providing emerging, mid-career and unaffiliated artists with opportunities to exhibit in an array of venues. -

Torpedo Factory Art Center
Journey through three floors of open studios and galleries to observe artists and buy original artwork. The Torpedo Factory Art Center houses more than 160 visual artists who work in a variety of media including painting, ceramics, photography, jewelry, sculpture, and much more.
In addition to 82 artists' studios, you'll enjoy six galleries, The Art League School and the Alexandria Archaeology Museum.
