Robin Antar
Brooklyn, New York
My mission as a sculptor is to create a visual record of modern culture by capturing contemporary everyday objects in stone. By replicating the model on a life-scale along with marking and symbol details, I attempt to freeze the object in time as an artistic form of artifact. I achieve this high degree of realism through the use of such materials as parts of the real object, custom-made stains, paints, plastics and gold leaf. -
Don Beck
Baker City, Oregon
All Don Beck's bronze sculptures are done in small limited editions with some very small limited editions of silver sculpture available making them very rare and more valuable for the serious collector and investor alike. Beck spends an enormous amount of time in the research prior to and during the creation of each new sculpture that he undertakes. As you will note in his work, much attention to minute detail for realism and authenticity is undertaken, as well as Don's unique ability to capture the spirit of his subjects. Beck's love for horses, dogs and animal life of any and all species, and including people can be seen in his work (very realistic and life like). -
Barbara Scavotto-Earley
Enfield, Connecticut
My creative process is rooted in improvisation, unfolding and emerging ecstatically through a concert of instinct, concept and uncertainty. I playfully and soulfully juggle structure and spontaneity, discipline and freedom. In my soul space, I experience ritual, timelessness, and meditation in motion. -
Betty A. Gerich
Herndon, Virginia
All of my sculpture is one of a kind. The work is made of clay which is fired in an electric kiln and finished with a fumed or painted surface. My art continues the tradition of artists such as Viola Frey and Robert Arneson, who have been innovative leaders in the field of ceramic sculpture. -
Bruce Gray
Los Angeles, California
Bruce Gray's contemporary and abstract modern metal and wood sculptures have been displayed as part of group or solo art exhibitions at many Art Galleries and Art Museums from Santa Monica to Soho and abroad. The Los Angeles sculptor is also well known for his kinetic sculptures which include mobiles and stabiles, amazing gravity defying suspended super power magnet sculptures, and rolling ball sculptures. -
Cindy Jackson
New York, New York
Figurative sculpture is my way of connecting with the world outside of myself. My desire is to make art that matters. Art with integrity. Art that doesn't talk down to us or show us the negativity of the world. Art for me is finding a way to represent people as real people, honoring them as who they are. Many of my sculptures deal with peoples' relationships. The relationship one lover has to the other is expressed in my works "Twist", "Thirst", and "Ledge". In "Twist", each person is completely wrapped up in the other. Though it may seem precarious, their feet are slightly larger to indicate that they are stable and grounded and not about to fall. Their relationship is on solid ground. -
Gregory Johnson
Cumming, GeorgiaEveryone is a work of art, and within this context, my goals are to create lifelike, animated and softly detailed figures that breathe- figures that connect with a concept larger than the work itself. With classically proportioned and richly textured works, my hopes are to “put you simply in awe” and “inspire you to touch and talk to the sculptures.” These are the works you want to be photographed with.

Paula Mandel
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Paula Mandel graduated from Temple University with a double degree in Fine Arts and Psychology. During her 30-year career she worked as a Play Therapist and then as a professional painter. Her metaphorical paintings and mixed media are animated, colorful and richly textured as they stem from her personal experiences as a woman, wife and mother. Five years ago Mandel wandered into the National Liberty Museum in Philadelphia. This was her first exposure to grand scale glass sculpture and it inspired her to return to school. She has now completed 2 full years of flameworking, kiln-casting, fusing, slumping and cold-working courses at Salem Community College in addition to workshops and courses at UArts, Corning and Urban Glass with some of the masters in the field. She is thoroughly immersed in the 3-D world of glass/sculpture. -
Darcy Meeker
Blacksburg Virginia
Darcy carves stone, works in copper (from jewelry to 43-foot wall sculptures), paints silk, makes clay masks, does oil paintings, and has created a large public sculpture with neon and fiber optics. -
Greg Polutanovich
Saugus, California
Greg Polutanovich is known for producing exceptionally life-like bronze portrait sculptures, both busts and full figures. He is a self-taught artist who has worked sculpting on a wide variety of projects in the entertainment industry and as a fine artist for the last 20 years. His interest in Western history and legends is his current inspiration for his sculptures. Greg’s figures seem to be caught in the middle of their actions, only frozen for a moment. The realism and expressiveness of his sculptures is unforgettable. Now he is creating a line of busts based on his favorite actors in Western roles. -
Betsy Popp
Townsend, Wisconsin
The Northwoods of Wisconsin have always been home for Betsy. Blessed with her mother's artistic talents and clocking in many hours in the woods with her father over the years has molded Betsy's career as a wildlife and landscape artist. -
Craig Robb
Mammoth Lakes, California
When deciding what I would do with my life, being an artist never entered my mind. Instead, I utilized my creative talents in other areas spending a great deal of time avoiding the lure and temptation of making sculpture. It was here that I began gathering experiences and developing viewpoints about our world that are a prevalent part of my sculptures today. My imagery draws upon these experiences in life and the knowledge of materials garnered during that time period. -

Debra White
Thornville, Ohio
My work involves developing sculptural pieces that incorporate texture and organic masses. I strive to create shapes that have the power to move the viewer emotionally and visually. Living in a high-tech society such as ours...it is sometimes difficult for us as a peoples to maintain a spiritual connectedness with our beginnings. Working in sculpture gives me an opportunity to explore forms that have a relevance to our surroundings. Past cultures have contributed so much visually and spiritually...we must continue that journey. -
Deborah Wilson
Vernon, BC Canada
Conceptually, Ovation is based on the Yin-Yang idea and the choice of keeping natural jade rock forms, sculpted naturally over thousands of years, is to retain the richness and antiquity of the material. ....The smaller of the rocks was quarried from a river. It is essentially a smooth pebble rock and was carved to represent the female Yin aspect. The larger rock was carved and polished to give a busier overall male surface and a large area was kept natural to retain its original "skin" texture.
